Last week may very well be the most responsible i’ve ever felt as a human being. I’ve recently been notified verbally (and illegally) by my landlady that my roommate and i would have to move out of our apartment, so i’ve spent the majority of the time clearing things out of the way and looking for a new apartment. I can’t detail the specifics as of yet, but will do so as soon as everything is cleared up. Trust me, i would like to keep a log of this roller coaster ride.
The renting market is at its all time high, what used to be a $1,200 apartment is now $2,000, so imagine our excitement when we came across a $1,700 located just three blocks west of where we currently live! Let’s hope this one doesn’t fall apart.
Since most legit landlords require a credit check or some sort, I checked on my credit report, which you are entitled to one free report annual from each of the three major credit report companies (via AnnualCreditReport.com), and was surprised to see my high score of 780! That’s coming from a 230 score in 2003 due to identity theft. That made my day.
And on an entirely different note, my roommate and i got sick of work on Thursday and decided to get tested for HIV. My last time was back in June of 2007, and as taboo as this topic may be, i still believe that it’s best to be vocal about this to raise awareness especially to the young people like us.
I’m still very blessed to be negative.
If you are interested in getting tested, and you really should be, you can get a very accurate HIV antibody test and have the results as soon as in twenty minutes.

Wow. Rent is so expensive in SF! My one-room apartment in Palm Springs is only $675. It comes with a shared pool, jacuzzi, palm trees galore, and extra sun.
You should get tested every 6 months. Practice safe sex!!!
