This is the first ever recipe when my friend Matt first taught me. First lesson, so to speak. Banana breads are the kinds of food where there’re super easy to make, yet really yummy. (But i’m not sure if they’re good for you seeing how you use almost a stick of butter
)
- 1.75 cup Flour
- 2.25 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt
- 1/3 cup Butter / Vegetable Shortening
- 2/3 cup Sugar
- 1-2 Eggs (I usually use 1 whole egg and 1 yolk)
- 2 whole Bananas
Mix all the dry ingredients and together with egg mixture and melted butter. (I usually make three mixtures: 1) flour, baking powder, salt, 2) butter, sugar, and 3) egg mixtures)
In the oven at 325˚F for 60 minutes
Notes: Since then i’ve made slight variations to it, with walnuts, or a hint or nutmeg or even with a splash of Spiced Rum.
