spongecake / PSP
Tuesday, 22 February 2005
i totally had the best sponge cake ever.. i don’t know why i love them so much.. but this particular one from Queen’s.. it is f-a-b. i think it’s the sugar, but it’s so omg good i think everyone should try it if they ever come to Hong Kong.
haha my bud Tommy said he found a piece of eggshell in it once.. as i had too.. but that’s just their way of telling you that they use real eggs, right? i mean.. they could’ve used those fake egg-beaters.. and you’d never notice.
anyway, there was a dude sitting next to me playing his PSP in the mtr i took to work today. it’s a shame that the screen already had some scratch marks on them.. such a beauty gone de-valued.. haha.. But i mean.. the system looks real nice.. and i think i may even prefer a PSP over an NDS.. even if i may be a nintendo fanboy at heart.. the PSP just.. looks cooler..
i do like the touch screen on DS though.. but the design is just so.. .. not slick.
oh well.. i’ll hold on to buying till the next version to NDS (just like i’ll wait for the next version to the iPod Shuffle)
The dude was playing Ridge Racer, which looked pretty good judging from just watching him play. The race track he was racing was in a sunset setting.. and the road was accurately reflective of the weather.. shinny underneath the sun and darkly grey in the forest region.. though i do find some of the graphics to be pretty flat (talking like a printing major again).
I do like the screen on the PSP.. i wonder how that measures to the NDS? probably better, haha.. oh and then there’s the loading. the initial load took a bit of time, but after the first time.. the rest of them were pretty minimal (though noticeable)..
well that’s my two seconds review of the PSP and Ridge Racer.. in a poor-man’s perspective haha.. i’ll give you a real review of them if i ever get to own one of those bad boys in the distant future.
sorry with the bad grammar and the messy writing..haaven’t gotten my cup of coffee yet.
love actually,
Winson
